I know, this blog is only intended to cover this trip, however I do have a soft spot for trailies, as I have been riding them like for ages, ever since I owned my XL500S back in 1979, I got hooked on this type of bike, the whole experience was fueled with my passion of big Desert Raids.
So take a minute and view the bikes that made it to the hall of fame.

A lot of R&D has been happening over the last couple of years, BMW introduced the GS1200 Adventure, Honda revemped the venerable and lovely Transalp, Yamaha has pulled out from the twin war and reintroduced the Tenere for 2008.
The Big news is around Moto Guzzi Stelvio which gets the 8 valve 1200cc twin and produces more than 100 horsepower and massive torque according to Moto Guzzi's official note. The wind-shield is adjustable and below the wind-shield sits a magnum 50mm USD fork and radial Brembo callipers. Guzzi is on the come back and this is a promising bike..

Some good comments and recommendations there regarding bmw bike insurance, it is hard to come by a site with some good comments or quotes on bmw motorcycle insurance. Any idea of where I can get a good condition BMW G650 Xmoto. Ideally I do not want to get it directly from the manufacturer because of the cost however I would like to get it in good condition so if there is one cheaper but in good condition I would be glad to hear any recommendations. Once again good blog!
