At last I could not believe seeing the status of my Trunk on Aramex Online. I guess with some divine intervention it was released from customs. Now I can leverage my day off tomorrow to finalize my preparations.

Kuwait to Beirut 2007 (What The Heck)

I was out riding my Harley on the 5th of october down to south cafe 26, I overheard the gang discsussing the Road Trip, did not take any notice of it. My Buddy Abdullah was hell bent on joining. So I said to myself what the heck!! Bought a Beemer on the 10th of October 30 days later I am setting off !!
Objective is simple jump on a bike and cover a 6000km journey, through Saudi, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon in 20 days.
Start Date Kuwait : 9th Nov 2007
End Date Kuwait: 30th Nov 2007
Expected Weather, Hot, Cold, Humid, Dry & Rainy.

Rider Line Up: 9 Kuwaitis - 2 Saudis - 1 Lebanese w/visa :).
Bikes Line Up: BMW GSA 1200 - BMW GS1200 - BMW GS1150 - BMW R1200RT - Honda VTX1800 - 6 Honda Goldwings 1800 (Lucky Butts!!) and Late entry BMW K1200LT.
Challenges: Middle-Eastern Politics & Visas!
Dangers: Ranging from car bombing to reckless drivers.
Fun Factor: 120%
